We believe every good design starts with a story
Ours began in 2005 in London, when we bumped into each other in the halls of one of the largest design firms in the world.
One thing led to another, and we’re now a ‘hubby and wife’ duo who’ve been working together for more than 15 years.
With a background working on large commercial projects, we always dreamed of opening our own studio together, where we could focus on the projects we really loved doing with the clients we wanted to work with.
Finally, the time came to take the leap and bring our years of experience and know-how to the residential market.
We think one of the best things about working with us is that you get not one but two experienced designers who have different but complementary skills.
Our design process has developed over many years and, between us, there are very few gaps in the services we provide our clients.

Here’s what each of us brings to the table:
About me (Debbie)
As a methodical project leader and all-round designer, you’ll find me by our clients’ side, presenting big-picture ideas and later the nuts and bolts details.
With a Diploma in Interior Technology and nearly 20 years experience working in leading architectural firms in London and Brisbane, I’ve developed the management, design and technical skills to approach projects at both a high-level and detail-level.
This includes presenting exciting design concepts, right through to drafting and coordinating with builders, architects and consultants on-site.
I’m particularly passionate about the building process and in recent years have completed my Cert IV in Building and Construction. With this, I can provide even more value to our clients during the construction phase.
About Dave
With a background in art and a Bachelor of Interior Design, Dave is often regarded as the ‘talent behind the curtain’.
Born and bred in London, he was hand-picked by a leading architectural firm and mentored by some of the most well-respected architects and interior designers in the world.
His skills in all things concept, design and visual communication have been developed over many years, and he’s particularly known for his amazing hand drawings, 3D visualisations and fly-throughs.
Having witnessed many times clients and colleagues tearing up when presented with Dave’s handiwork, we all know him for his talents in evolving the ‘design story’ into a visual feast where dreams start to become reality.

It’s hard to hide the fact that we love the Australian 50s style, which you’ll see in the design of our own home.
But as designers, we’re not bound by any particular styles or trends. Instead, we work closely with you to develop your own ‘design story’ – the aspirations, inspiration, nostalgia, feelings and fond memories you want your home to reflect.
This allows us to approach design on a deeper level, so we can create meaningful spaces that fit in with your lifestyle now and in the future.
