Hi, we’re Dave and Deb Lloyd, a hubby and wife interior design duo who live and breathe design!

With 15 years experience in leading architectural firms, we don’t just look at aesthetics and trends but also the functionality of your space, so you can enjoy your home for many years to come.

We created our Bathroom Design Packages because we saw there was a gap in the market for an affordable, time-efficient approach to bathroom design that still achieved a magazine-worthy look.

We believe good design doesn’t have to be expensive.

Can I put forward my own finishes and fixtures ideas?

Yes, you can! We work with you to carefully select fixtures and fittings that are suitable for your space and budget and align with your vision. You may even have your own Pinterest board you would like to share with us.

Can I see sample finishes?

Yes, we will provide you with the hard finishes. For the fixtures & fittings we give you all the supplier details, and you’re welcome to visit a showroom to see the selections in-person.

What should my construction budget be?

We recommend a construction budget of between $20,000 and $40,000, depending on the size of your bathroom and the selections. If you plan to DIY and engage your own licenced trades, you could save between $10,000 and $20,000.

We’ll talk you through some typical costs when you book a call, and if you decide to go ahead, we’ll work with you to design a bathroom that fits within your budget.

Can you design a custom vanity for me?

We certainly can as we specalise in joinery and cabinetry design. We have a number cabinetmakers who we collaborate with. Generally this will take a little longer than and off the shelf item. We tell our clients allow between 6-12 weeks

Can you order the material for me?

We don't order finishes, fixtures and fittings however you or your builder can order them. We offer our clients our trade discoust so they can order themselves and save on their construction & design costs.

We're focused on finding the best solutions with quality fittings. We don't trawl the internet to find the cheapest and on sale items. However you are welcome to to shop for similar, more competitve items yourself however may not have a trade account set with these suppliers.

How long will the process take?

We aim to have your bathroom design completed in as little as 1-2 weeks. This will depend on how quickly you approve each sign-off stage.

What about lead times on products?

We’ll always identify any lead time on items and discuss these with you from the outset. We also check with our suppliers regularly to identify lead times and discontinued items and update our schemes as required. If time is an issue, we’ll suggest alternative products from other suppliers; however, you may have to sacrifice some craftsmanship for the quick turnaround. Overall, we’re led by your requirements regarding lead times and special orders.

An important thing to note is if you don’t order your products within a week of receiving your design package, some products may become unavailable. If this happens and you need us to source alternative products, additional charges may apply.

Can I ask my builder to provide a design?

Of course you can, and many people do. However, usually the builder will wait until you lock in a contract with them before they provide a thorough design service. This makes it hard to compare quotes based on the same design.

Sometimes the builder will outsource the design to a qualified designer or employ interior designers to provide this service to their clients, which is great. But so often the designs are not completed by a qualified designer and the price quoted is for a limited range of products, which means if you want to change something later, you might be hit with variation fees.

Finally, check that you’ll be receiving 3D renders as part of the service, so you have a complete understanding of what the final outcome will be.

Do you come out for a site measure and check out our exisitng bathroom?

If you live in Brisbane, we can arrange a site visit. We will organise a time to come to your home so we can have a clearer view of the existing conditions. We generally allow an 1.5hrs including travel time.

Do I have to live in Brisbane to access this service?

Not at all! Because our Bathroom Design Service is a virtual service, we can design your bathroom no matter where in Australia you live. Simply book a call with us and we’ll walk you through the process.
